Caught in a Storm

Did the Pisces lunar eclipse illuminate what you needed to release from your life? This mutable water sign rules music, deception, delusions, hospitals, confusion, drugs, people experiencing homelessness, and oil. The stories in the news related to the amplified Full Moon were:

- Rapper and mogul Sean Combs was arrested for racketeering and sex trafficking. One thousand bottles of baby oil were recovered from his property. His White Parties used to be the hottest ticket in town. Many high-profile celebrities will be caught in this storm involving rampant drug use and hedonistic sex exploitation. A big fish could make news near Mars's entry into Leo on November 3. Mars rules sex and violence. Leo rules the royal ones, including celebrities. Expect more revelations during the Mars retrograde cycle from December 6, 2024 – February 27, 2025. Mars appears to stop at 6° Leo and then peels back the tape to expose what is underneath.

- Israel is on the counter-offensive against its enemies. Hezbollah pagers exploded across Lebanon, leading to chaos on day one, and then walkie-talkies exploded on day two. At least a dozen people were killed and thousands injured. Hospitals in Lebanon were overwhelmed and struggled to handle the wounded. Imagine the paranoia of not knowing if your devices are bombs. I will discuss the astrology of the attack during next week’s Celestial Insights podcast. Since then, an extensive bombing campaign has killed the leader of the terror group and displaced a million citizens. Israel is now bombing the Houthis in Yemen. The October 7^th attack and the resulting war have created an unimaginable humanitarian crisis, a diplomatic nightmare for the Biden administration, and destabilized the Middle East.

- Hurricane Helene devastated the southeast of the USA. Entire towns were destroyed. We could have a devastating storm season that impacts the US Presidential election. Mars in Cancer will oppose Pluto in Capricorn on November 3, two days before the big event. Both planets will be at the 29^th anaretic degree of crisis and decay. Will power outages and infrastructure damage impact turnout? When I first looked at this year’s astrology, I wondered if a cyber event could cause unexpected upheaval at the election, but a storm is more likely the culprit if there is a problem. Look for horses, not zebras.

Solar eclipses are amplified New Moons when new stories are seeded. You may already know yours as they come in early. Events could unfold on the day or over the next six months. Libra rules relationships, diplomacy, legal affairs, social events, art, and culture. There is creative energy for artistic masterpieces; examining emotional shadows could bring healing, and new relationships could begin. Eclipses work together. The risk of drug and alcohol poisoning is amplified throughout October. Please tell your kids in college to stay away from punch bowls. Venus, Mars, and Saturn create a grand trine in turbulent water. Everyone should be careful as you may not realize the effects of intoxication. Oct 4 - 8 is especially precarious when pleasure-seeking Venus is besieged. Take an Uber to stay safe and avoid legal problems. 

Up to 40,000 US dockworkers are preparing to strike for higher wages and protection from automation. A prolonged strike could have a disastrous impact on the US supply chain. The solar eclipse in Libra is conjunct with the South Node, a cosmic drain. A collapse of contract negotiations is possible. Stock up on supplies ASAP if the strike happens, as it could be prolonged.
