Collective Knowing

My life is a whirlwind. Expansive Jupiter conjoined my Sun and hardworking Saturn in my 11^th house of groups in July. It’s been 12 years since the cosmic Santa lit up this part of my chart. The experience includes abundance and a bit of overwhelm. I was honored to share my work with ISAR, SDAS, and Synchronicity University. I am the new host of Transit Talks every first Sunday with the Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) and a manager of OPA Live. It is a fantastic organization. Mercury and Venus retrograde in dramatic Leo mutually applied to each other last week. Remember, retrogrades bring reversals, reoccurrences of previous situations, our ghosts back, and the potential collapse of anything contemplated. Pluto in Capricorn also squared the karmic lunar nodes.  

🧾     Venus stationed retrograde square my natal Neptune. Venus governs resources, and Leo rules my second house of financial affairs. I  received a letter (Mercury) that the state tax authority is missing (Neptune) some tax documents Mercury) from 2020 (retrograde).  

🦁      At the First Quarter Moon, the Sun was in Leo (Lion), and the Moon was in Scorpio (Cobra). We learned that the gifted and intense Irish singer Sinead O’ Connor had died. She was outspoken (Mercury in Leo) about the abuses of powerful institutions (Pluto in Capricorn). Venus rules entertainers. It is fitting that she passed during this intense time. Her debut album was titled The Lion and the Cobra. 

👩‍⚖️   Hunter Biden’s sweetheart (Venus) deal (Mercury) over tax and gun charges with the Department of Justice prosecution fell through when the Federal Judge expressed concern about the terms. The hearing turned into a 3-hour drama (Leo).  

 🚚 Mercury rules transportation and commerce. The winged messenger negotiates, and Venus persuades. Shipping giant UPS negotiated a settlement with the teamsters and avoided a strike that could have devastated the US economy. The potential strike led to the collapse of US trucking giant Yellow yesterday as Mercury in Virgo (trucking company) opposed Saturn in Pisces (ends operations permanently). This cash-strapped company had trouble managing debt for years; tragically, 30,000 people are out of work.  

Aquarius is an air sign which rules friends, groups, the future, and our dreams. The energetic drive is to improve, innovate, and reform. Shadows include erratic decision-making and detachment from emotions. Mercury and Mars in Virgo could bring obsessive, highly critical thought processes for some. With the winged messenger opposing Saturn (depression) aspect amplified by this lunation, check on people who may feel hopeless. There is the potential for people to seek permanent solutions for temporary problems. For most, organized and focused thinking will assist you in getting stuff done!
