Course Correction

The upcoming astrological events, particularly the first of three corrections as expansive Jupiter tensely squares restrictive Saturn on August 19, December 24, and June 15, 2025, are significant. Jupiter, symbolizing ethics, freedom, wealth, and expansion, is in a tense square with Saturn, the planet of tradition, structure, punishment, and contraction. It is a perfect time to trim the excess, as the pressure is set to build over the next two weeks.

Jupiter governs judges and foreign places. President Biden’s proposal for term limits and binding ethics rules for Supreme Court judges aligns with this transit. Success in the multinational coordination for the prison swap is also on point. This energy helps us bring the bigger picture to realistic results, but the path may be difficult. Reality checks, getting sober, starting new health regimes, accountability, and financial belt-tightening are an energetic match.

Communicative Mercury in health-focused Virgo turns retrograde from August 4 to 28. It’s a great time to schedule the doctor’s appointments for yourself or as an act of service for a loved one to check out that nagging issue. This transit is known for technology hiccups, bad deals, scheduling mishaps, and communication problems. Retrogrades also bring delays, conflict, reversals, unearthed secrets, occurrences of previous situations, and the collapse of anything contemplated. Donald Trump has buyer’s remorse about his VP choice, J.D. Vance, who has been a disaster. Will he reverse his decision and pick a new running mate?

Kamala Harris is a Gemini rising; with her chart ruler retrograde, we may see leaked texts, phone calls, or videos.  Perhaps even her health records may be unveiled.  Personally, I think the more they paint her as a fallen woman, the more votes she will get. Uranus is conjunct fixed star Algol, the Lilith archetype through the election. Lilith was Adam’s first wife, and she would not be subservient. For many voters, the fight is about whether women’s rights will be beheaded. Pay attention to opportunities for collaboration around August 7^th.  We can still party like it's 1999, but it's time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. This is a time for action and engagement, so make the most of it. You may just find money in unexpected places like couch cushions, pockets, or drawers.

After the deadly Hezbollah strike on the Golan Heights, the double assassinations by Israel this week, including a Hamas leader on Iranian soil, has the Middle East on high alert. Some flights are delayed. Iran has a protection crisis as signified by the 29° Aries Mars falling into Taurus on August 13. They are promising revenge. The New Moon is conjunct Israel’s 10^th house Pluto. Leo's energy is splashy and dramatic, and he puts on a big show. Mercury’s switcheroo is after the New Moon and under the cover of darkness.  Will another attack go undetected until it's too late?

This lunation kicks off with a bang. Try not to let the unexpected shocks and disappointments knock you off your axis.  The twists and turns are just beginning. What is done in the dark comes to the light for a reason.
